A home décor object exploring playful form, balance, and material presence through bird-inspired volumes, named Pihu after the soft chirping sound of a sparrow.
Ideations
This form was taken forward due to its suitability for large-scale fiberglass casting. The monolithic geometry minimizes undercuts, avoids thin sections, and reduces stress concentration areas, ensuring structural stability during pattern making, mold creation, and casting.
